You forgot one important step at the end… you must go to the /DEBS/desktop-integration folder and dpkg the deb there! Otherwise it you won’t be able to launch anything.

And does anyone know how I get back the openoffice.org splash screen which allows you to choose the application you want… rather then clicking the program name under the main menu > office??? Do tell!

Agreed, I fell in some issues with themes like this as well. I think it has to do with changes in 8.10 and most cool themes were designed in 8.04 or earlier. Files get replaced or switched or referenced that shouldn’t be I did manage to change my login screen to something schweet. Will post pics this weekend.
